The African Insurance and Banking Anti-Fraud Professionals Consortium (AIBFPC) was founded to address the growing challenge of fraud in Africa's insurance and banking industries. As these sectors expand, so does the sophistication and frequency of fraudulent activities, creating the need for a coordinated, continent-wide approach to fraud risk management.
Established in 2023, AIBFPC emerged in response to a surge in financial crimes affecting both insurance and banking institutions across Africa. Recognizing the critical importance of collaboration, a group of industry leaders and fraud management professionals came together with a vision to create a unified platform where insights, strategies, and best practices could be shared.
Since its inception, the consortium has been at the forefront of promoting fraud prevention measures, leveraging advanced technologies, and advocating for stronger regulatory frameworks
AIBFPC has grown into a vital network of professionals that connects experts from various African countries, working to build a more secure and transparent financial landscape.
